Netflix’s “Hill House” Adaptation Sets Three More
Henry Thomas, Elizabeth Reaser and Kate Siegel are set to join Carla Gugino and Michel Huisman in the upcoming ten-episode straight-to-series modern adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s classic 1959 novel “The Haunting of Hill House”.
Rising filmmaker Mike Flanagan is helming the series which sees him re-teaming with several actors in previous films he directed – Thomas and Reaser in “Ouija: Origin of Evil,” Siegel in “Hush,” and Gugino, Siegel and Thomas in the upcoming “Gerald’s Game”.
Amblin TV and Paramount TV are producing the project which draws from the original classic ghost story while expanding on the mythology of the Crane family in what’s dubbed a modern re-imagining.
Flanagan is writing and directing as well as executive producing alongside his producing partner, Trevor Macy, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.
