Philippines Comic Store Closes Over “Tough Market Climate”

Philippines Comic Store Closes Over “Tough Market Climate”

Comic Odyssey of Quezon City, Philippines is going to be closing one of their two stores and expanding the other. Their Alabang Town Center branch will close at the end of the month, while their Robinsons Galleria branch will move and get a bigger area to work from.

ALABANG BRANCH closing on January 31
GALLERIA BRANCH expansion by March 1

Due to the very challenging comic market climate as well as our lease ending, we are sad to announce the closure of our Alabang branch on January 31.

We would like to say “THANK YOU VERY MUCH” to all our ATC customers for giving us the opportunity to serve you. We would also like to extend our invitation to all our ATC customers to switch over your accounts to either our Galleria or Fort branch. You can also transfer your account to our shipping department which provides free shipping with purchases of P1,000 and above. Last week for new comics reservations for the ATC branch will be on January 24. The weekly reservations for January 31-onwards will have to be transferred to other branches or through our shipping department. We will do our very best to ensure the transition for pick-up at other branches or use of the shipping option will be as smooth and seamless as possible.

Starting immediately, our ATC branch will be on sale on the following items:

NEW COMICS – 20% OFF
PREMIUM BACK ISSUES – 30% OFF
VARIANTS – 50% OFF
ACTION FIGURES / STATUES / COLLECTIBLES – 30% OFF
POSTERS – 30% OFF
ALL BACK ISSUES IN OUR BINS – only P50 each
———————————————————————————-

As we adjust to the tough comic market climate and position ourselves to be stronger in the years to come, we are happy to announce the expansion of our Robinsons Galleria branch.

We will be moving to a larger space on the 3rd floor of Robinsons Galleria, where the Adidas store was formerly located. Target date of operations in the new location is on March 1. With this new larger and more accessible location, we will be able to offer you a wider variety of comics, cards, action figures, and collectible merchandise.

Starting immediately, our Galleria branch will be on sale on the following items:

GRAPHIC NOVELS – 20% OFF
ALL BACK ISSUES IN OUR BINS – only P25 each

We thank you in advance for your understanding and for your continued support over the years. We remain very passionate about comics and we hope that by making these adjustments, we will be able to better serve you in the years to come.
